WHAT GOD DOESN’T KNOW
I’d like you to spend the rest of this year with full knowledge of what is going on around you. It is only fair that you are well informed so as to be able to take necessary steps and live your life to the fullest. “Ignorance is not an excuse.” You are better off knowing than not.
What is it that you need to know? You need to know what God does not know. Yes, I mean it. There are things that God does not know. Wait and see. Over time, I have noticed that we human beings act, but we sometimes act unwisely because we don’t have all the facts. Sometimes we have distorted perspectives. Somebody said, “as your child’s choice between a nickel and a dime may be a nickel simply because it’s bigger but grown-ups know that it doesn’t follow.”
Yes, it has been said that God doesn’t need additional information before He can make up His mind about anything. Ps. 147:5 writes that our God is great and His understanding is infinite. I believe this whole heartedly, and I insist that no matter how controversial you think I sound, as a Christian, you have the right to know certain secrets about the Lord that you serve.
The bible says “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” Prov. 15:3, KJV but he still doesn’t know certain things.
No sparrow can fall without God knowing about it Matt. 10:29, but he still doesn’t know certain things.
No creature is hidden before Him, all things are naked and open unto His eyes. Heb. 4:13, but he still doesn’t know certain things.
The hairs on your head are numbered. Matt. 10:30, but he still doesn’t know certain things.
Now let me get to the point. As I was traveling along in the scriptures and I stumbled across a portion where God gave a promise to Abraham about a Son. Even when at the age of about 97, God was still telling him, “I am God Almighty.” In Gen. 17:1-4, God made a covenant with this 97 year old man, changed his name from Abram to Abraham, then told him he would be a father of many nations. This shows that God does not know a man too old that He cannot bless and give a son to. If you read carefully, you’ll get to Genesis 17 verse 15-19, you will see this same God changing the name of Abram’s wife from Sarai to Sarah. Waoh! Change a 90 year-old barren woman to a mother of the new born Isaac? Yes! There is something God does not know. He does not know any woman too old that he can not convert to a fruitful one. Although Sarah laughed in disbelief but thank God that as we got to verse 21, Sarah bore Isaac. I say God doesn’t know barrenness. Ex. 23:26 – Elizabeth, Anna.
Mama, I tell you that God doesn’t know any bitterness in your life that he cannot sweeten. Ex. 15:22-25. What situation tastes bitter in your life?
God doesn’t know any sickness that cannot be healed. Ex. 23:25, 15:26, Matt. 4:23, Matt. 8:16, Matt. 8:17
Nothing is too difficult for God. Jer. 32:17 & 26.
God doesn’t know any evil force that he cannot overcome for you. Ps. 91:5-13, no terror, Ex. 23:27.
God knows no wretchedness that cannot be turned to blessedness.
Jacob – Gen. 32:24-28
Heb. 6:14 – In blessing I will bless you.
And most of all, He doesn’t know a person so sinful that He cannot save or change. When we talk of salvation, Christ says Matt. 19:26, men may thing it’s difficult for a sinner to be saved or receive mercy, but with God it is not impossible. How heavy is the load of your sin? Matt. 11:28-30
If you are tired of the load of your sin, John 3:16
II Cor. 6:2 – behold, this is the day of salvation
I Thess. 5:9 – God obtained salvation for us, not wrath.
Our God is in heaven, Ps. 115:3, He does what He pleases. And He knows no boundaries. He calms storm. Commit your life to Him totally and you will know that He is all in all.
God bless. Amen.
